We have vote rewards and villager shops at spawn. We also have a port to spawn, which cost vote rewards, to help the community interact with each other, and have a safe place to trade. Ender chests available around spawn as well. If you choose not to use vote rewards at the shops or for going to spawn you can cook the fish and eat them!
