Votifier plugin

A modern, maintained fork of NuVotifier

MinePick maintains an updated version of the popular NuVotifier plugin under a new name: VotifierPlugin.

VotifierPlugin preserves the familiar Votifier functionality and compatibility server owners depend on, while modernizing the project, cleaning up the codebase, and keeping it buildable for current server environments.

What does VotifierPlugin do?

VotifierPlugin receives vote notifications from Minecraft server-listing websites. These notifications can then be handled by a compatible vote listener or rewards plugin.

It is designed to work in place of Votifier. Vote listeners that support Votifier should also work with VotifierPlugin.

VotifierPlugin also includes:

  • Vote forwarding for multi-server networks
  • Commands for testing vote listeners
  • A single universal JAR for supported platforms
  • Modernized builds and general project cleanup
  • Open-source code licensed under GPLv3

Supported platforms

VotifierPlugin currently supports:

  • Bukkit, Spigot, and Paper 1.7.10 or newer
  • Sponge 7
  • BungeeCord and Waterfall
  • Velocity

Always check the latest release notes before updating a production server.

Getting started

  1. Download the latest release from GitHub.
  2. Place the universal VotifierPlugin JAR in your server’s plugins directory.
  3. Start the server to generate the configuration files.
  4. Configure your listening address, port, token, and any required vote forwarding.
  5. Connect a compatible vote listener or rewards plugin.
  6. Use the included test-vote command to verify your setup.

For complete instructions, see the VotifierPlugin Setup Guide.

VotifierPlugin and VotingPlugin are different plugins

Despite their similar names, VotifierPlugin and VotingPlugin are not the same thing.

VotifierPlugin receives votes from server-listing websites. A vote listener or rewards plugin—such as VotingPlugin—decides what should happen after a vote is received, including giving players currency, items, ranks, or other rewards.

Open source and properly credited

VotifierPlugin is a GPLv3-licensed fork of NuVotifier, which itself includes work from the original Votifier project. We are grateful to the original developers and contributors who made these projects possible.

Our goal is to keep this essential Minecraft server tool available, transparent, and useful for modern server owners.
